Black-Owned
Collab Program

A standing invitation to Black-owned businesses across the city — breweries, food vendors, artists, retailers — to build with us. Co-brews, tap takeovers, in-taproom events, crossover brand drops. We're looking for partners who want to share the room.

Black-Led Program
3 Taprooms
Always Open Intake

A program, not a one-off — built to keep the door open

Mascot Brewery is a Black-owned Toronto brewery, and one of the ways that shows up in our day-to-day is committing taproom real estate, brewing capacity, and shelf space to other Black-owned businesses. The Black-Owned Collab Program is how we formalize that. We work with co-brewers, food vendors, artists, and retailers on releases that are actually built together — credited, paid, and visible on the wall, not just shelved beside each other.

We review every submission as it comes in. There is no deadline — when a partner's project is the right fit for the next open slot at one of our three taprooms, we move. That might be a four-pack collaboration lager with a fellow Toronto brewery, a Saturday taproom take-over with a Caribbean food vendor, a gallery show in our King St. space, or a t-shirt crossover with a Black-owned apparel brand. The shape of the collaboration gets decided together.

If you run a Black-owned business in Toronto (or build with one) and you've got an idea — or even half an idea — send it over. The form below goes to our team. Every submission gets a reply, after a real read.

For Black-Owned Businesses
Breweries, food vendors, artists, retailers, and makers. Co-led, credited, and paid on contract — we don't ask people to "just promote us" in exchange for access.
Co-Brews & Releases
Brew together at our Etobicoke production facility. We bring capacity, ingredients, and our brewing team; partners bring vision, voice, and access to their customers. Released together on draft and in cans.
Tap Takeovers & Events
Take over a Saturday night at any of our three taprooms. We open the taps, the speakers, and the doors. You bring the lineup — DJs, chefs, vendors, panels, whatever your community is building.
Crossover Brand & Media
Apparel crossovers, retail bundles, podcast features, hosted tastings. Smaller in scope, higher in profile — and a way for non-beer Black-owned brands to be in the room.
