What Visitors Are Saying

★★★★★

"Finally a brewery in Toronto that gets it right — great vibes, incredible beer, and the staff actually know their stuff. The King St location is my go-to spot after work."

Marcus T. June 2026
★★★★★

"The Etobicoke space is gorgeous. Spacious, welcoming, and the rotating taps always have something interesting. Their hop forward selection is unreal."

Priya R. May 2026
★★★★★

"Brought my whole family for a tour and we were blown away. The kids loved it, the beer was phenomenal, and the team made us feel like family. Already planning our next visit."

David K. June 2026
★★★★☆

"Hands down the best craft beer selection in the GTA. The Vaughan location has such a great community vibe — I've met so many regulars just hanging at the bar."

Sofia M. April 2026
★★★★★

"Support Black-owned businesses, support Mascot. But honestly, I'd be here anyway — the quality speaks for itself. Their stouts are killing it right now."

James L. June 2026

Chill Craft

Craft beer has an inclusivity problem. Too often it's built for a narrow crowd — the hops nerds, the checklist drinkers, the ones who speak in IBUs.

Mascot doesn't do that. Chill Craft is the idea that great beer and good vibes aren't mutually exclusive. You can care deeply about the craft — the ingredients, the process, the balance — and still just want to hang out with your friends and have a good time.

We make beer that speaks to culture. That means diverse, welcoming, and unpretentious — in the liquid and in the atmosphere. The goal is to make people feel like they belong, not like they need to prove something.

Instead of trying to conform to a craft beer industry that lacks diversity and inclusivity, we chose to carve our own path.

Head Brewer

Marcus Okafor

Marcus's brewing philosophy shapes every recipe on the lineup. Co-founder of Mascot and twenty-plus years in Toronto's food and drink scene. He's at the brewhouse most mornings long before the taproom opens, dialing in the next batch the way a chef tastes a sauce.

AO
Head Bartender

Amara Osei

Amara runs the bar programme across all three locations and is the reason the tap list always feels curated rather than assembled. She'll pull a sample of anything new before it lands and she'll tell you, with patience, why this one and not that one.
